TheBlackOut 7 Posted March 4, 2007 Hopefully this just wasn't offered on the demo... But if it isn't on the full game I'll miss it. Once tiberium gets in that little circle it likes to get in.. It takes FOREVER to keep spreading. Remember when the AI does nothing in TS and the tiberium would just grow, grow, and grow? That was awesome to me! I'd sometimes leave my Nintendo 64 with TD over night and then the whole map would be covered! I tried spreading it with the tiberium seeds... But they don't connect fast enough. And the charging time... Well when I was bored, I could just jack it to the highest settings. Well.. I don't see any speed adjustment! So no faster tiberium spreading or long recharges for the seeds. Am I the only one who likes tiberium to spread a lot? I specially wanted it to because of that missile that makes the tiberium go bizzark! So if the tiberium was running through their base and you were at the point were the AI does nothing, just seeing that missile rip through would be AWESOME! Its not that big... But it was one of my favorite things to do when I wanted tons of monies and wreak havoc. Share this post Link to post
Sneaky Smiley 0 Posted March 4, 2007 Yea I noticed that too and was also disappointed. I love when the tiberium grows fast and rules the map. At TS I kept killing harvesters and cyborgs of my own to give it a boost Now it is easier with the tiberium seeds, but it didnt grow (much). I'd like to make that blue zone more into a red zone at skirmish. I hope it will go faster at the full game, maybe they did this because people will not keep playing the whole time so they need to taste there fun at the full version. Share this post Link to post
kraft 0 Posted March 4, 2007 Well the skirmish map on the demo is a blue zone map, maybe the red zone spreads faster cause it's more contaminated Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted March 4, 2007 Yeah I think Kraft is onto something there. Share this post Link to post

Guest Rabbit Posted March 5, 2007 I can personally confirm kraft's idears. During the first summit, me and Assassin snuck onto a different map for about 2 minutes. Tiberium was a LOT more dense, and spread a bit differently. (Although I'm not sure if I'm supposed to tell you that) Share this post Link to post

I can't wait to play around in red zones that have the green mist around the map! Share this post Link to post
comander starlin 6 Posted March 5, 2007 well i hope that it grows because that would be a big disappointment. but if there is tiberuim in the blue zones then shouldn't it take the ground quicker because this is fresh soil.? Share this post Link to post
kraft 0 Posted March 5, 2007 Possibly, but then again it may not have adapted to the soil enough like it has to the more contaminated zones Share this post Link to post
comander starlin 6 Posted March 5, 2007 but plant life grows better in open area's better than dence area's. so wtf is up with that. Share this post Link to post
kraft 0 Posted March 5, 2007 Its an alien substance. it doesnt have to make sense Share this post Link to post
comander starlin 6 Posted March 5, 2007 ture but it should still follow the basic mechanics of plant life. which is seed's/pollen that is fertalised (pregnated) landing on the ground should start growing a new plant. Share this post Link to post

That's plant life of this world though, It doesn't mean it's the same as an alien substance, the way it adapts is already not of this world. Share this post Link to post
comander starlin 6 Posted March 5, 2007 yes true but it would adapt to the climit and texture of the soil so it should be growing out of control like in TS. no matter what zone you are in. Share this post Link to post
kraft 0 Posted March 6, 2007 Then that would defy the point in having zones if it grew like that everywhere Share this post Link to post
comander starlin 6 Posted March 6, 2007 well under certin zones it should be controled by a spay or some thing not just slowly grow. and i hate that radar i want to be able to hide it. Share this post Link to post
