So I had an idea ... (as copied from IM)

Woofna [10:55 A.M.]: That would make it so my comp would load off HDDs at 6gb/s

Woofna [10:55 A.M.]: Since SATAs are 3gb/s

Woofna [10:55 A.M.]: Using one data stream to each core, therefore making the process multi-thread, totally utilizes my dual-core.

Woofna [10:55 A.M.]: Loading screens = no more

Could this work? It seems brilliant. Too brilliant. There must be something totally wrong with it.

Ya know, that brings up interesting thought. I would normally say that a computer doesn't know how to process the SAME file at the SAME time if it's on two different hard drives... but if it's a dual-core processor, that might actually make sense and work.

I think what I just rambled about has already been invented and is called RAID.

Good to see I'm inventing things previously invented and successful.

It shows me I am intelligent, just uneducated.
