Command & Conquer 3 Patch v1.1 Released

Predator has let us know that patch version 1.1 for Command & Conquer 3 is available right now. This release day patch addresses some very important fixes and exploits. Here is the announcement from the Official C&C 3 Forums.

 

PATCH 1.1 IS LIVE, log online and download now!

 

This day 1 patch addresses some very important fixes and exploits. I also want to note that we are already working on patch 1.2 which will technically be our first major patch with balance changes, more bug fixes, added maps, etc. That is slated for late April. But today... you get to download patch 1.1.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: We have made an option in patch 1.1 that will allow you to turn off the Kane Edition skins if you'd like. This is purely a matter of preference, so if you want the normal skins, download the patch and have at it!

 

You'll need to log online to download the patch now that it is live.

 

Below is the change-list.

 

Version 1.1 Launcher File - March, 2007

 

This patch for Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars fixes several bugs and exploits:

 

Exploits

- Scrin Mastermind's Teleport Units ability maximum range reduced.

 

- GDI Engineers, Nod Saboteurs, and Scrin Assimilators can no longer capture structures when under the effects of the Scrin's Phase Field ability.

 

Optimizations

- Improved video playback on low-end system configurations.

 

Balance Changes

- Scrin Storm Column cost / build time increased to 3,000 credits / 30 seconds.

 

- Scrin Buzzer health reduced to 75 and weapon damage changed to SNIPER.

 

Bug Fixes

- Fixed an error that would occasionally result in a crash in Nod vs. Nod matches on the multiplayer map Deadly Sertao.

 

- Fixed issues with automated map transfer ability in multiplayer.

 

- Fixed an error that would sometimes cause a Commentator's telestrator drawings to not erase when intended during BattleCast matches.

 

- Fixed issues with replay file playback.

 

- Fixed placeholder text and chat log errors with the Comrade in- game chat window.

 

Other Changes

- References to Nod's "Avatar Warmech" unit have been changed to "Avatar".

To get this patch just log online to to C&C 3 multiplayer to begin the download.

I will get it a bit later it makes my scrin units bad the fly group thingys get sniper shot skill that bad I keep orginal temp

Don't nerf those Scrin aircraft. It's your own fault for not building enough AA defenses. Especially 'bazooka' infantry (like 10-20 per ship) are enough to take it out. At the German launch event someone took out 3 bases with 3 of these big Scrin ships. When you start building AA defenses when you see them coming, you are too late. It's like a Kirov, only better :)

The AI on the militant missile squads are retarded, plus they move too slow. I can't focus on those fliers because they move too fast. I mass buggies but once they kill the air, they're useless vs scrin vehicles.

The wipe out their production before they tech up and send airships at you en masse

pfft, the patch didn't fix my movie problems....

 

my video card's an nvidia geforce 6600, i have 1gb ram, and my processor is an athlon 2200+

 

 

The ingame miniclips and the news segments between missions work fine, but for some reason, the FMVs don't :?

Bah the only time i lost vs scrin was in a 1v2. Their ships are just annoying :cry:.

 

so build lots of AA

 

Of course I cant really help, I cant play the game, A: I dont have it, B: if I did, my comp would have died just from being in the same room as it.

 

PS: "and dont suk" is classic forum advice for gamers. :P
