Your ID might already be taken..

But I notice that entire site is screwy at the best of times for me anyway...

Could also be your firewall if your running any sort of software one.

I was playing around, I thought I might give an online game a go (knowing I would be slaughtered early on) but it kept freezing on me, Control+Esc back to Windows to find the pop up from my firewall wanting to give C&C 3 permission. No problems now.

However I didn't actually get into a game, I just get kicked all time  And I don't know why.

Automatch is easier than finding matches in the lobbies.

Plus your less likely to get abused through the automatch games, as opposed to finding one in the lobby... :P

Maybe we should organise some games between us then? I basically suck but its all in good fun.

Anyway, back to Hans' problems. Have you updated to v1.04?

Make sure your online ID doesn't have any strange characters like (';'), colon (':'), comma (','), or equal sign ('=').

If you can't register a persona through C&C3 you can do it on the C&C3 website instead.

Aww... bummer...

But it probably wouldn't matter if I tried to play with any of you because of the time difference between NZ and US East. :(

I don't think so. I usually end up playing all the Germans that seem to be online, and I haven't had any lag issues...

Time distance isnt a major problem if you plan ahead. My squad has played clanmatches against US clans without too much trouble other than lag.

holy hijack batman!

I have 1.04 and no windows firewall enabled. I highly doubt that anyone has taken Hans5849 as a nick in CNC3

If its a problem with your online id, it doesn't like it for some reason, have you thought of trying a different one?

I've tried a different one, i've also checked to make sure all my ports are forwarded. Now the game just crashes.

And I assume you actually purchased the game? Not some downloaded cracked version or something?

Well you should probably take it up with EA Tech Support.

Have you tried going to www.commandandconquer.com and creating your EA account/profile/online id from there?
