TheBlackOut 7 Posted May 30, 2007 I agree , israel is there, the arabs have to deal with it. But I want to ask u something.... I am assuming u r familiar with how israel was created. What if the United Nations, in all its wisdom, one fine day decides to give the State of say.... New York and Washington to a bunch of ppl who u dont know, never met, to make an independent country of their own, just like that? how would u react? would u just sit back and let a bunch of outsiders take your country cause the united nations says so? Yes I am familiar with how Israel come into being. Of course we'd be upset with it, but the U.N. would never dare do that to it's biggest fund-er, but I know you were just saying. Did I say it was right? No, I didn't. I don't believe Israel was right to form tbh, but they're there now, and they're going to stay, forever. They die before they leave, as do the Arabs. But the Arabs need to realize, Israel's got more power tbh and U.S. backing to boot. You can't shove them around and act like nothing's going to happen back. Now if the Arabs would stop attacking and acting aggressive towards Israel, I bet we could all be hunky-doorie, but both of them got problems. But I'd say it's more with the Arabs now. They compromise, and compromise, I mean, didn't Israel pull out of the Gaza strip a bit ago for the Palestinians to go there? Or have they already forgotten? hehe ur saying that as if israel only 'responds' to bombings.... my friend, israel routinely bombards places like gaza with f-16s on the pretext of killing 'militants'. Even the so-called soldier abduction in israel b4 the lebanon conflict was actually in response to the killing of 7 palestinian civilians when a patrol boat shelled them while they were enjoying on the beach. The following response by hamas gave israel the perfect excuse to bomb the whole of south lebanon to hell, after lebanon had so painstakingly reconstructed itself after the previous war. But if we get into the 'who started it first' discussion it will be endless and useless. Wanna give me proof of this stuff? But let me ask YOU this, if an enemy of your country fires weapons onto your country, would you just idly sit there? Tbh Arabs had their chance to stop Israel and it failed. They should now try and work for peace with Israel. (By the chance I mean http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1948_Arab-Israeli_War) And it looks like Hamas doesn't care what Israel will do anyways, yah, http://www.guardian.co.uk/israel/Story/0,,2090917,00.html  Israel doesn't look so bad in this situation, aye? vyper 0 Posted May 30, 2007 yeah buddy i got proof: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/5066496.stm recall that this incident took place while there was a ceasfire between palestinian militias and israel. But after this incident, hezbollah ended its ceasfire and abducted 2 israeli soldiers. This then provided israel with the perfect excuse to bomb the whole of south lebanon 30 years back. AFTER that the palestinians started firing rockets into israel. Israel is the agressor my friend, and this is the latest incident to prove it. After this happens the dumb ass western media gathers up to cricticize hamas for firing rockets but they dont look at the other side of the story. What do u expect the palestinians to do? sit around and die? If israel has the right to defence, so do the palestinians. I mean, didn't Israel pull out of the Gaza strip a bit ago for the Palestinians to go there? Or have they already forgotten? Israel has constructed a berlin-wall style barrier all over the place so the various palestinian areas r isolated from each other anyway. It was pragmatic to pull out of gaza and lock up the palestinians inside. Besides it was becoming economically unviable to sustain the jewish settlements there. Israel didnt do any1 a favor by pulling out, and the last thing on its mind was making a gesture of peace. The subsequent events in lebanon r there to prove it. And it looks like Hamas doesn't care what Israel will do anyways, First of all Hamas is or rather was the democractically elected govt in palestine. But since pres Bush is so concerned about the spread of democracy in the middle east, he and some euopean countries cut off its funding and totally isolated it bringing the palestinian govt to a standstill. When hamas is isolated, gaza bombed regularly and the palesinains locked up inside their own lands, what do u expect any1 to do? i would fight and so would you if u were in such a situation. Who is the agressor and who is the defender? Tbh Arabs had their chance to stop Israel and it failed. They should now try and work for peace with Israel..... yeah that was a humiliating defeat in 1948. but you know, many palestinians, even recently Hamas agree that israel is a reality that cannot be denied. But since the concept of Israel is inherently invalid, its existence depends on continued and sustained intimidation of the arabs.........was it the threat of nuclear weapons that saved Israel in the 1973 war after it was on the brink of defeat in the first week of that war? I dunno, its just a neverending cycle of violence. Personally i dont mind and no Muslim who is knowledgable about Islam minds that the Jews r living there. They r most welcome. They were welcomed heartily b4 the creation of Israel, when they came to seek refuge from WW2. Little did we know that some of them came to steal our country. They have to recognize that this is our country as much as it is theirs. Arnt the Christians and Muslims living there peacefully? Do u know that the key to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in jerusalem has been entrusted to a Muslim family since 1192? This was so that the various christian sects wouldnt fight over it.This is the level of trust that exists between the orthodox christians and muslims of palestine. Why cant the jews just accept that the Holy Land is not a Jewish Homeland anymore, but is sacred to all muslims, christians and jews? The problem lies with Zionism my friend, which is fundamentally a racist ideology. . Share this post Link to post

That really has a point...If some unknown people would just come here because UN and some other dudes say so, I'd be there blastin' the hell out of them... It appears that here's going on a fight about Israel and Arabs... btw Is the Hezbollah still existing? or is it shut down or underground? Share this post Link to post
