Patch 1.05 Incoming - It's Amost Here!

Another update for you about the 1.05 patch for Command & Conquer. Its going to be released later today, it all depends on your time zone though. APOC posted this update on the Official C&C 3 Forums.

 

Hey guys,

 

We've been approved by all the right people, agencies, aliens, organizations, you name it, we're approved, patch 1.05 is good to go and will be deploying live tomorrow. Keep your eyes peeled, we'll keep you posted once its officially on all the servers.

 

I'll have more info once the patch is live on everything else including the ladder reset and what that will mean.

 

Please note, it is likely the ladder will not reset until Friday, but we'll be sure to let you know what to expect.

 

Thanks again for your undying patience, believe us, its extremely appreciated and we have some great plans going forward for future patches, the MOD SDK, ladder seasons, tournaments, etc.

 

This is a new beginning for Command & Conquer 3 no matter how you slice and dice it. The patch should really enhance a lot of balance, technical, and aesthetic aspects of the game.

 

And don't forget the 4 new multiplayer maps and alternate mouse setup!

Sonic, I'd like to ask you to wait for at least 2 days before mirroring it here, once you download it, because the demand is too high and now we have this bandwidth limit, even if the limit is high, the file is big (111mb, english version) and too much interested people wanting it.

Yah I was about to suggest that myself after seeing other forums with crazed people looking for external sources of the patch. :shock:

Its only 60 odd meg, if you use the auto update, as opposed to the other one, which is just all the other patches combined.

Had no plans to mirror it on CNCNZ.com. Uploading 100+ MB on NZ broadband is not fun

Its a pretty big file. Nothin compared to the Demo, but it can slow you down.
