when i run renalert it loads the screen then says

Input past end of file

 

Is there something i did wrong?

never mind, i fixed it. for future users who encounter this problem, install the renalert .9915. (then install version .992. its a lot better!)

What? I'm confused, you don't need a password to play RenAlert, are you refering to the WOL login or perhaos you are trying to join a password protected server?

Do you have an account with Westwood Online? You will need to set up before you can play either Renegade Online or RenAlert Online. You should be able to register from with either game.

im very impressed with the effort and time you put into renalert because i just think its awsome but i do think you should ave a crack at making c&c tiberian sun renegade!!!

Most of the time I only see 2 servers listed on WOL for RenAlert. The past couple of days I haven't seen any one playing. I guess I'm catching it at the wrong time.

 

As for Reborn, I can't make the damn thing run so gave up.

Well the v933 update for Renegade Alert is coming soon. Its going to add Naval wars to the game, yes even the Soviet Subs

I can't remember the error message I got. I'll run it again and let you know.

 

I think RenAlert is better anyway, but I still want to check the Tiberian Sun stuff Reborn offers though.

they said they will add TD units to renalert right? well, what about RA2? i think they should just get all the units frim RA1 then make a new mod (RA2 mod.) also, will they include migs and yaks in the next versions? i know it will be hard to do that, but they do make iron curtians work so this will be easy right?

Well no aircraft have been coded in Renegade (only helicopters) so I don't think it's possible to put aircraft in.

Yeah renegade has no planes only helicopters, and it would not feel right flying a VTOL Yak.

well, the iron curtain and the chronosphere werent either, or subs but theyre going in and will work. i'm sure they can make planes (but its still coll even without planes)

there are VTOL yaks, believe it or not! though they are really modern and not in RA1.

How can you have a VTOL Yak when a Yak has a propella?

I've seen this b4 on Discovery Wings it is a Russian plane not sure if it is a Yak though but it sits on the ground verticaly with the propella facing into the sky and its a large propelar as it wuld have to be :roll: that way it can take of verticaly :wink:
