TheBlackOut 7 Posted August 14, 2007 I found these annoying, I forgot about them as the campaign wasn't worth playing over again but for some reason I just remembed them. Who else found the acts annoying? Just continue the story without "ACT III" popping up... No other C&C game had them and I couldn't separate the acts as if they were all totally different. Only big difference through Act __ to Act ___ was the Scrin. And the change didn't seem drastic. "Oh, aliens... K. Kill them pl0x?" Anyone with me or like them? For what reason did you like them? Redmond Boyle 0 Posted August 15, 2007 I really don't have an opinion about them. but the Brazil act of Noddies really sucked, and then in every act the next mission location isn't such a surprise... :'( but Tiberian Sun had the similar kinda thing. I don't think that the acts are needed. I could survive without them very well. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted August 15, 2007 Having the acts kinda tells you that your getting closer to the end, if that wasn't already apparent. But I didn't like the Act thing or the location information, wasted to much time, that could of been spent doing more useful things, like spilling the blood of GDI Infidels! TheBlackOut 7 Posted August 15, 2007 Or you know, kiling Noddies and hitting Nod's Temp with an ion blast, but hey, beggars can't be choosers. Share this post Link to post
sith_wampa 6 Posted August 16, 2007 What about the annihilation of Earth caused by the Scrin's massive mothership? Acts phael. They were useless, sucked up time, and like luke said, it tells you that you are nearing the end. Share this post Link to post

Gben 20 Posted August 21, 2007 Excuse me for pointing out the obvious but wasn't the inclusion of acts, so that you could cohearently combine three perspectives of the same story??? ie.. GDI, Scrin and... oh what's their name... don't tell me... it's on the tip of my tongue? -gben Share this post Link to post
sith_wampa 6 Posted August 21, 2007 The better than the other two combined Nod faction? I think so. Share this post Link to post
hagren 0 Posted August 21, 2007 Acts were in both campaigns. I liked them, personally. Makes the FMVs more epic, even if its only a fading word before an FMV. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted August 21, 2007 True, but there were only acts in the GDI and Nod campaigns.. Pwnd. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted August 21, 2007 Would be kinda pointless having acts for a campaign which only lasts 5 missions. Share this post Link to post
sith_wampa 6 Posted August 21, 2007 I know, but I thought they had them anyway.. :? Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted August 22, 2007 I know, but I thought they had them anyway.. :? Hmmm... that's weird. I was sure they had them too, but it does go so quickly that maybe I didn't notice them. I guess it's another reason to redo the campaigns (at some point). But the purpose of the "acts" still holds true. -gben Share this post Link to post
