Help! MOD SDK!

Recommended Posts

Im SO eager to use MOD SDK and get into how it works.

And in the end make a cool mod.

But first, I can't figure out how to even start the program.

Read the "Readme" and all but it didn't help me.

So I tried to start the file: BuildMod.

Then this crap appears:

Now I am totally confused! and im starting to get mad!

Becouse I have waited for this for so long, and Im too damn stupid to figure out how to start it.

Someone help I beg you!

I cannot see the whole output of the BuildMod.bat... especially where the error occured (which is a few more lines up).

By the way, you are not the only one having these errors... unless you are the same person who e-mailed me.

Cause you can't look to the left. It's RIGHT there.

Oh, and to be more smart-assy, it's "is there" not "was there".

Now get back on topic (or I'll ask Sonic to make me a moderator in this forum and I'll help you a bit).

@Jah$poR, we need to see the whole output of the buildmod script - otherwise we cannot tell what the error is.

You should be able to scroll up a bit in the window, so we can see what is above the current messages. There is another part of the error message that we cannot yet see.

Okay, there is something wrong with the texture compiler. My suggestion: reinstall the dependencies (using the Mastermind installer). And reboot your machine after installing them.

My guess is the Visual C++ 2005 runtime is not correctly installed yet.

I get that exact same error on two separate windows machines one running xp and the other running Vista. Everytime I try to open it, it gives me the same error. Problem saving .big file. I have installed everything suggested 3 times or more on both machines. I tried to use TibEd 2 and about 50 percent of the time it errors on me with the same basic error, cannot save .big file. Does anyone have any suggestions?

OK... hixey, I'm not 100% sure if it's the same problem. Can you copy/paste the the TibEd 2 output log window?
