NEW POLL modifed iron curtain

Should the iron curtain be able to protect infantry too?

Well thanks to Npatch there is logic for the Invulnerability tag this makes warheads have the iron curtain effect on any unit including infantry this helps make mobile iron curtains work if your familiar with some of the work done in voxels

 

anyways I've been thinking using this plus the fire SW logic I can make a custom iron curtain SW that does not kill infantry but makes them invincible too only down side is you can't use this as offensively against the enemy as you would in RA2 or YR as using it against something like enemy seals would make them unstoppable in some ways though it opens up more tactics

No. The technology was designed for armored vehicles and structures. Infantry cannot survive the type of particle interaction that the IC creates.

Id say yes, afterall, you could make an infintry that has a special kind

of armour..and then use the iron curtin on it...

I've kinda abandoned the idea for a better iron curtain though I'm going to put a mobile Iron curtain unit into the mod soon and Hopefully if the next npatch comes with the Fire Storm SW enabled a Iron wall using TS firestorm SW logic but thats for my ZH multiplayer side of my mod

 

basically the country that uses iron curtain tech shall have it instead of the iron curtain
