OMG U HAVE NEVER PLAYED OR SEEN HEAVY GEAR!!!

 

The story is that those mechs have built in high speed tank treads or "wheels" as dubbed by the pilots.

In Heavy Gear, you are a soldier packing something like a crossbreed between the Battlemech and an exoskeleton... Kind of like an Elemental suit from BattleTech... And those things have wheels, to aid in quick movement.

 

 

It's a nice game. Although it is quite old already.

oh it's going well so far ^o^ probably better then anything i can do (well. maybe if i had enough time and i was FORCED to do it xD) but one of my friends was freaking AMAZING at it @.@ i mean it was like the first project and time he'd ever used the graphics program he used and he created this utterly amazing robot for his flash game o-o it was better then most new age game models o_o; he showed me all the pictures and i was just like "wait wut? you made that? on your first actual try to make something?" XDDD

 

what are you working in? o.o i think i learnt (sort of) in maya... we basically did a design support course... we were SUPPOSED to learn maya and stuff too but they really didn't leave us enough time to properly teach us. so we pretty much just got a rough tutorial of what the buttons did then had time to make something. and that was it xD;

 

yah soooo... good luck basically x3 what'cha gonna do with it when you're finished? o.o game model, cgi movie? cgi comic? =O
