Guest Rabbit Posted December 22, 2007 I often wonder to myself if cheesecake is considered cake or pie. You could easily say that it is a cake, considering the name, yet, it has the same principle as a pumpkin pie, the same texture, yet, they have different names describing them. Dr. Rodney McKay 0 Posted December 22, 2007 It's has qualities that are more consistent with Pie than with cake, like the fruit flavors it comes in, nuts, and texture. Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted December 23, 2007 / those are good. as for cheesecake...I've always considered it in a category of its own. I mean its consistency is similar to pie, yet its technically a cake, however.....cheese cake and regular cake are nothing alike. Share this post Link to post
Guest Spartan-117² Posted December 24, 2007 I guess it would be classified as a cake. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheese_cake will that help? Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted December 25, 2007 I guess it would be classified as a cake. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheese_cake will that help? one day you will learn that in matters of food, wikipedia is useless. It has no taste. Share this post Link to post
