JahSpoR 0 Posted December 24, 2007 As not everyone may know, the Shockwave mod has been released for Generals Zero Hour on 22 december.. So I downloaded it and played it for 3 / 4 day now. It's more than worth a try for anyone who once played Generals or still does it. link: http://www.moddb.com/mods/6301/campc-shock...ave-95-released BTW. theres so many new units and sounds that this mod seems as the best iv'e seen for Zero Hour yet!.. It's well balanced and will keep you play for hours believe me. I have chosen to combine it with the "high resolution mod" wich works together just fine. (also LAN) and it contains blood wich I think is a beutyfull detail. Share this post Link to post

Sonic 296 Posted December 30, 2007 There is rule regarding the over use of quoting and this thread was a prime example of why we have that rule. I suggest you read the rules: http://forums.cncnz.com/viewtopic.php?t=4. Share this post Link to post

Guest Spartan-117² Posted January 2, 2008 hmm this mod is fun even though there is some "Cheap units" Share this post Link to post
General Leang 0 Posted January 20, 2008 I found the total amount of units and tweaks they managed as opposed to their earlier releases, and to get it running properly...hmmm, shocking. Amazingly with everything they were able to cram in everything seems very well balanced, and the enhanced AI makes the game so much harder. This is what all mods should be. Inferno 22 Posted January 20, 2008 Hrrmmm.. I don't find the AI difficult in the slightest. Hell, the original AI was better. Share this post Link to post
General Leang 0 Posted January 24, 2008 Upon further play it seems the computer does not send as many units after you as it did when I first started using the mod. But I did notice one thing: how the AI actively hunts specific units. I had a Commanche I was building up to elite and Quad Cannons and RPG soldiers began hunting it, all over the map. I never saw it do that before, it used to always back off unless coming across a unit. I thought it fascinating that it would go after a specific unit. As well as that changing the stats to make units weaker or stronger really does change things, you cannot just Helix spam anymore as they are now too weak. Share this post Link to post
Alphabear 11 Posted January 24, 2008 I found that the AI would sometimes retreat when you launch a counterattack or ambush. I had a force sitting behind an outpost out of view from the enemy. Whenever it sent a force to attack my outpost i would bring my reserve group out to ambush and as soon as my forces came into range (they had the advantage and elite) the enemy would retreat its forces back to its bas until my reserve force left again and then would charge out again with more tanks. I was able to do this a few times before i decided to encircle their advancing forces before engaging them so their retreat ran straight into more of my forces Share this post Link to post
Inferno 22 Posted January 24, 2008 It seems the AI is smarter, yet cheats less. Share this post Link to post
