EA Planning New Online RTS Multiplayer System?

Responsibilities:

 

Lead up the construction of a new and innovative online service that will help to shape the next generation of games in the RTS genre.

It would appear that EA have future plans to create a new online service for future RTS games, most likely future C&C RTS games. Command & Conquer 3 uses GameSpy, which is somewhat unpopular with gamers, as its multiplayer online service, so I guess EA want their own one now.

 

There are some other interesting EALA related job entries as well, such as Product Manager for the entire Command & Conquer franchise and AI Software Engineer.

I hope they are. They really need a more effective MP menu and crap. Also, an anti-spam measure would be SO NICE.
