Music YOU(Yes, you!) listen to while playing games

One thing I was wondering is what kind of music YOU(Yes, you!) listen to while playing games? Are you satisfied with the original, or do you demand more?

 

Me personally, I like my own music. Usually with violent games like GTA or Postal 2, I like to listen to Dr. Dre and Ice Cube's Natural Born Killaz or 9mm by David Banner. Some games of mine have specific music associated. MK Armageddon has Paralyzer, SMAC has Lights out by P.O.D., and GalCiv2 has Fury of the Storm - Shadowfall. Recently, I've also started listening to Run DMC while playing CnC. What 'bout you?

I always mute the in-game music and blast my own tunes with Winamp. The music doesn't change with the game though. I've listened to Tom Petty while blasting away on GTA3.

I always play music in the background with Winamp too while playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 online, really helps. But I don't listen to music while playing Counter-Strike.

The music that I use in games is rock. I only use my own music about half the time, usually for C&C3 and APB. Not that any of Klepacki's stuff is bad, but it's the same old stuff.

I turn off the music so I can concentrate.

 

But sometimes just leave my music player going and it plays whatever is there. I don't get that fussed really.

Games like CoD4 are like that. You need to be listening to everything or else you're a goner.

I just use whatever the game supplies. Good or bad.

If I feel like it I use WinAmp, sometimes just no sound at all and other than that just the in-game stuff.
