Guest Marcel Posted February 26, 2004 Yo, men! Here again! How to set the shadow coorectly to a helicopter? It shows the rotor's non-mooving shadow on the ground in the game instead of the main voxel's! What to do :?: Share this post Link to post
Koen 2 Posted February 27, 2004 It appears no-one here knows... I remember Deezire having this problem too, so perhaps you can find your answer in the Deezire forums: http://www.deezire.net Share this post Link to post
alleylee 0 Posted February 27, 2004 i don't think you can do anything... i think even the original helichoppers don't have those turing shadows for blades shadows... if it is possible, i think westwood would have done it already. Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted February 28, 2004 The shadows for helicoptors have something to do with the ShadowIndex= tag. I'm not sure how it functions but I think it reads the voxel's sections beginning with 0. Rotor shadows will not spin and you cannot have both the shadow of the body AND the rotor. As for ShadowIndex though, I'm still not quite clear on its function. But I think that's it. Share this post Link to post
alleylee 0 Posted February 28, 2004 wow... looks like most people doesn't know... a suggestion is that don't bother about it, because not much people care about the shadow on the ground, or look at it. besides, it lags down the computer a bit Share this post Link to post
