Now, some of you may have heard from a certain source that I am finally venturing out on my own. What about you readers? When are you moving out of your parent's house, or what age did you do it at? And for careers, what did you choose/are you going to choose?

 

I myself am thinking of either a game design career or something with theoretical physics. You?

Im turning 18 on Saturday,. Just got into a good highschool. Going for programming or a game developer career.

Anyways, going to get my own appartment in Copenhagen as soon as I can.

i'm living with my mom and probably will be for some time. i'm not capable of getting a job or looking after myself. long story and i'm not going to discuss it here ^^; and before i get any raised eyebrows i'm not physically handicapped or anything o.O just mentally >_>;

I moved out when I was 18/19 for about 8 months. Went flatting for a bit. But eh, times got hard, and I eventually came back home. I'm set to move back out again, after I finish my degree in July sometime. A mate of mine is planning on buying a house or some **** around that time, so he'll "need" a flatmate, AKA me.

even if i wanted to move out i couldn't. house prices are rediculously overpriced, buying or renting. a 1 bedroom studio costs something like £250 per month c.c that is just insane. a 2 bedroom rental is like, £500 per month... who the heck can afford that? :\

good paying jobs yeah. but thinking technically the majority of them will be adult white males or young white couples. chances are both of those groups won't have high paying jobs straight away... it makes the market very unfriendly indeed. and for immigrants and single parents? (dispite getting help) chances are they'd still be in a lot of trouble at the end of every month o.o i mean nowadays with a middle paying job you might JUST be able to pay it off. but you'd be living on ramen and nothing else :\ my mom's got a good job and she doesn't bring in enough to be able to pay rent like that. luckily we have our house bought...
