Help with generals zero hour units... tibed stuff

How do i make rocket soldiers (or any other units) in the Helix have a longer range?

 

The rocket troops i put in the helix at the moment seem to have a pathetic range on them how would i increase it?

Simply increase the weapon range of the unit inside. You can also take a look at the Helix itself. (it has a module about infantry)

If i were to increase the range of a tank hunter unit then it would make the unit too powerful... as when they come out of the helix they will have really long range.

 

You mentioned a module about infantry? There is a "Helix_contain" module but that is the closest i have found which has anything to do with infantry, and nothing there about range of units inside.

 

(btw it reduces the range of units when placed inside an overlord bunker or norml bunker, how do i increase it?)

Do you think the unit's range would take on the range of the Helix's own gun? If so that might explain such short range from infantry

Maybe its something about damage being applied outside the bunker. Maybe if that is 120% or something it might increase. Have you also kept in mind that the units can only fire as far as it can see?

i have done a mini mod in tibed 12 but now when i am using 13 i cant change anything because then the mod cant be played some help plz? :cry:

Why can't the mod be played?

If you select "Play mod" in TibEd, what happens?

Or, what if you do "Export mod" and then start Mod Selector? Does it show up under the name you gave it? Is there something wrong with Mod Selector?
