One of 1-UP.com's latest features is called the Top 5 Videogame Characters Named Kain/Kane. And guess who tops the list? That's right, everybody's favourite leader of the Brotherhood.... Kane!

 

1. Kane - Command and Conquer Series Command and Conquer

The big bad of the command and conquer games, Kane stands out from all the rest of our howeveryouspellem's. He's not just the central charismatic antagonist of a long running series, but the possibility is left open that he may well be the actual, literal first son of Adam. You know, the guy who invented the whole idea of killing each other in the first place. It's frequently hinted at, but never explicitly stated that this is the case. All we know is that he doesn't age, lives through some crazy lethal crap, has weird genes, plunges the world into war so many times that we've lost count, and is just an all around enigmatic, manipulative jerk. Being the world's first murderer would just be icing on the badass cake at this point.

This list is not credible. Final Fantasy is on there. Besides, Kane(WWE) set Jim Ross on fire and Tombstoned Linda McMahon. He should be no lower than second.
