Sonic 298 Posted May 13, 2008 People still play Sole Survivor? Anyway, like any of the older C&C games simply starting the game and connecting to multiplayer should connect you to XWIS. Everything for what was known as Westwood Online (WOL) redirects to XWIS these days. So assuming XWIS still support the game it should be able to be played. Share this post Link to post

TheBlackOut 7 Posted May 13, 2008 Sole Survivor isn't even worths your dog's time to play and the fact of the matter is that EA and XWIS no longer support Sole Survivor. You will not be able to play online on Sole Survivor ever. Share this post Link to post
phazerx 0 Posted May 13, 2008 i'm going to have to disagree with TheBlackOut, i found it to be probably the best online game i've ever played, the community was great, and it's hard to beat a competetive game where 40 people would show up to do battle. However, arguing about how good it was isn't going to get it back for me, do any of you have any EA contacts or anything of that nature that may help me get a server going again? i really appreciate your time -Sean Share this post Link to post

Sole Survivor was boring and stupid (imo I guess since people disagree... ) and the no server situation as of right now pretty much proves it. And there was a Sole Survivor community? I only knew of the C&C community, which just happened to have people that played SS before. This is why we have Hamachi. I don't believe SS is playable over LAN, which is why people want the servers back up for them. I have not played in a long time though, I could be totally wrong. Share this post Link to post
