Recommended Posts

Its official, Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 was announced as one of Gamespot's Top 20 Most Anticipated Games for E3. Even though its in the number one spot in the list below it doesn't indicate any importance. The E3 Expo for 2008 takes place this July.

The Top 20 Most Anticipated Games of E3 were chosen based on a multitude of criteria: GameSpot editorial opinions, consumer polls, blogosphere buzz, and general consumer interest surrounding titles. The list also incorporated data from GameSpot Trax, the industry's most advanced tool for tracking and analyzing essential game data, such as consumer awareness, interest and purchase intent, competitive mindshare, campaign effectiveness, audience profiles, and editorial coverage.

“The titles represented on our Top 20 Most Anticipated Games of E3 are all noteworthy games that have fans and reviewers like me looking forward to another E3,” said Ricardo Torres, editor-in-chief of GameSpot. “These are also the games we predict will have a major influence on game industry this holiday season.”

Hmm.. Of those 20 games, I know of about 6 of them, the rest I've ever never heard of, or don't like.

RA3 and Fallout 3 are on my list. :D

The rest I don't care about.

Edit: A bit surprised that StarCraft 2 isn't on the list, maybe it's because there's no launch date set.

Your right, that is surprising

Perhaps Blizzard aren't showing StarCraft 2 at E3 this year. And since its not on GameSpot's list they might as well cancel the game then :P

Oh the horror! We didn't make GameSpot's list! Our sales will plummet! :P

1. Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 (EA)

3. Fallout 3 (Bethesda)

4. Far Cry 2 (Ubisoft)

8. Little Big Planet (SCEA)

12. Resident Evil 5 (Capcom)

16. Spore (EA)

17. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Lucas Arts)

Those are the games I'm interested in. Spore gonna keep some ass in this place!

Well I *must* be stupid. I can't find the list at gamespot just at yahoo, I was looking for the comments about games they are not anticipating... like SC2.

Weird indeed.

Fallout is possibly the only other game I might actually give money away to play, but there's a bunch of good titles in there.

Blizzard is just tight lipped about release dates and features, and usually, they have demos and such at BlizzCon. Perhaps they don't expect SC2 to be out this year... wouldn't surprise me one bit.

SC2 does not need to be at E3 because there's Blizzcon.
