Crouton, sometimes someone will buy a vehicle right before you do, and it'll be the same one, so it seems like they're stealing yours, just take a look at your credits when this happens, and there'll be your answer

 

and what I love doing is being a SBH and waiting by the WF, there's always a vehicle that I can steal (I do this on maps without base defenses, obviously) or, on field, whenever GDI has the field, they usually drive their vehicles to the back, hop out, and begin reping, perfect oportunity to hop in their vec and run em over (as SBH, of course)

 

But I never really trust my teammates with an empty vehicle, so I never really buy a reping unit, unless I'm reping other vehicles, but if I do, I go to a secluded part of the base and rep, and keep a good eye out for anybody who'd take it

Probably the most useful thing around is a SBH with a repair gun, it is very rare that they will ever appear, but when they do they are very useful, although I've only managed it once, it made winning the game a whole lot easier. Steal a mammoth, run away, repair, give to team, rinse & repeat, i also repaired my allies as they passed since i travel on foot usually.

You appear when you look in your scope, so you gotta make a quick shot. it's just so useful! and you always make the enemy mad and have a hoot doing it

i know this is a lil off tpoic with the whole vehic stealing..but i hate is when u are on those maps where u can buy recon bikes...half ur goddamn team will buy one and u can never make a rush...b/c u always hit ur limit at 2 or 3 stanks. for exmple that one desert map with the really high walls all around....ive seen like 5 ppl with recon bikes just doing flips off the ramp down to the field.....it really pisses me off...here we are trying to make a rush for the base defenses and u reach ur limit at 3 stanks..that is what i find annoying when playing....ppl stealing my tank dont bother me b/c i will just request a ban for the lamer sob that stole my tank :wink:

Haha, i got so pissed off with people nicking my vehicles that i just shove as much C4 as i can onto them, if anyone nicks it then i warn them i will detonate, that is usually enough for them not to waste my tank like that. If they don't get out then i wait a few mins until they forget all about it, then when they are under attack, BOOM, then they get killed by the enemy. That puts em off for good.

 

Soon after that i started realising the immense usefulnes of the suicide humvee

most of the games i paly have friendly fire off. And i steal enemy vehicles as stealth black hand when they think its clear and get out to repair...then i crush them
