C&C 3: Deluxe Edition Contest Closed

Recommended Posts

Our Command & Conquer 3: Deluxe Edition Contest that we have been running for the past two weeks is now officially closed. Thanks to our friends at EA we are giving away 3 copies of the Command & Conquer 3: Deluxe Edition and some extra bonus prizes.

There are lots of qualified entries for this contest. There are also many entries that have been disqualified because the person forgot to include their CNCNZ.com forum user name or answer the very easy questions correctly. All of the qualified entries have been entered to the prize pool and each one has been assigned a number in the order they were received. The grand prize winner will be drawn first from this pool at random and then the 2nd and 3rd place winners. The winners will be announced in the next 24 hours.

If you missed out on this contest why not enter our Red October Red Alert 2 Collector's Edition Wallpaper Contest instead. In this contest we are giving away a copy of the massively popular and extremely hard to find Red Alert 2 Collector's Edition. Full details can be found here.

People actually answered the questions incorrectly :o And some forgot to enter user name. Dam.

I'm entering both competitions, I'm hoping I will get to win something at least.

So now that this thing is closed (and nobody can get any ideas), what if someone made multiple CNCNZ accounts to enter more than once?

I don't see anything in the rules and guidelines about secondary accounts...

Would you have a way to even detect such a sneaky act? Should I even ask, lest there be another contest?

(I obviously didn't make my own, since I didn't enter the contest at all, much less more than once...)

I won't go into specifics here, but to keep it simple..... the forums track your activity by IP address, when you register, when you post something etc. The actual contest e-mails that got sent to a special hidden e-mail address also have IP addresses and host names tagged in them. I can compare them very easily. I've gone through them all and I'm 99% sure there are no duplicates.
