Sonic 296 Posted December 28, 2008 Carl's Guides have posted complete walkthroughs for every mission in the Soviet, Allied and Empire of the Rising Sun campaigns in Red Alert 3. So if you need some help to get past some of them help is at hand. Many fans have stated that a few missions are tough nuts to crack. Each guide is easy to follow and features plenty of screen shots. Gben 20 Posted December 29, 2008 I'll have to look at these - see what other methods were available... Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 291 Posted December 29, 2008 I didn't think the game was hard enough to require this... The missions were very simplistic and each objective was plainly detailed before, during the mission, and indicted with bright arrows. Many fans have stated that a few missions are tough nuts to crack. Strange... can't imagine why. Nevertheless, having complete walkthroughs made for it make RA3 seem somehow... more significant. Gben 20 Posted December 30, 2008 There were a few... challenging missions... but nothing that REQUIRED a walkthrough. I agree with the comment about the hand-holding, and the triplicate mission briefings etc... but some missions were complicated. I like the comment about significance too... Malevolence 6 Posted December 30, 2008 For those guys who find the campaigns very challenging, well, let's say they are not used to the new stuff and feature in the game. I believe with more time and experience, they should get the hang of it. Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted December 31, 2008 That's definetely true. Playing the campaigns a second time - I'm finding the missions ridiculously easy in comparison. I keep wondering if I missed some changes in the patches... Share this post Link to post
Malevolence 6 Posted December 31, 2008 Playing campaigns with patches changes everything. The missions are designed around v1.00 unit and structure stats. Look at C&C3 for example, by patching it for multiplayer sake they screw up some campaigns. Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted January 1, 2009 I always thought the kept the mp and sp balancing seperate, due to triggers and scripting... although I do recall a classic C&C3 mission which fell victim to a patch: This was the one when as Nod you start with a crane and needed to build a turret to complete a objective - but you couldn't after they nerfed the crane. The only way around it was to build a war factory, then a mcv, then the defences. Share this post Link to post
