Repair buildings, with another building?

Just got this idea for my mod:

 

i want to make a structure that have a radius around it (like prism tower etc), so every building inside that radius will be auto repaired.

some1 any idea how to start with this?

 

besides this i would add the same, but then for units, auto repair when units come in the radius of this building ;)

Possible, as for how effectively, not so sure.

I made such a device basically using the IFV's repair gun, except with the warhead able to hit buildings as well, I also threw IsElectricBolt in there so its ranged repairs didn't look so spontaneous.

It did automatically repair a damaged tank, but would not cease fire when the tank was fully healed. It also could repair buildings, but only if it was force fired (in which case, it obviously would keep firing also).

I guess a slightly clumsy way to solve that would just be to hit 's' on the keyboard once fired but surely there must be something that tells a IVF when something is fully healed, so it stops healing it, have a search round in the files for that?!

Repair IFVs do stop when tanks are fully healed. It's hack weapons or negative percentage warhead weapons that do that. Negative DAMAGE weapons are just fine.
