RA3 for PS3 Previewed in Official PlayStation Magazine

Recommended Posts

The March edition of Official PlayStation Magazine (OPM) features a four page preview of Red Alert 3. And covers everything you need to know about the upcoming Red Alert 3: Ultimate Edition for PlayStation 3. Official PlayStation Magazine go as far to declare that it is "one of the most important releases on the platform this year"! Check out a sample of the preview below.

You will have to pick up a copy of the magazine for the full preview.

The RA3 game for the PS3 with the words of "one of the most important releases on the platform this year" is missing something: Uprising expansion. Without it, it's not an ultimate edition. Therefore the RA3 title for the PS3 does not deserve an "ultimate edition" unless Uprising is included. I rather stick it if it were called a Premier Edition for the PS3. Besides EALA has no idea that they are trying to make RA3 an ultimate edition as nothing compared to the Windows Vista Ultimate Edition. To become an ultimate edition, you need more features in the game such as the Uprising expansion, in which RA3 doesn't come with it.

It is EA's marketing ploy to trick gullible nerds to buy other editions of the same game with one difference (its on a PS3 now). :)

The compilation of games will come definitely later. Reminds me of TFD, Saga collection, C&C3 Deluxe Edition...

Where you get them? They have crop marks still ready for print...

The magazine scans? APOC posted on the Official C&C Site.

What you has said there makes absolutely no sense to me at all.

purplescrin's point is simple. purplescrin feels that the PS3 version should not deserve a title name called Ultimate Edition because it is the same as PC version's Premier Edition. purplescrin demands "Ultimate Edition" to be used as a compilation set.
