CNC-Live: Episode 5 This Weekend

After a brief hiatus, community based C&C chat show, CNC-Live, returns this coming weekend with episode 5. Here's the announcement from TheGunrun.

 

Command and Conquer Live is a variety talk show where the C&C community voice their thoughts and opinions concerning the Command and Conquer franchise.

 

On this weeks show we will be discussing our thoughts on Uprising, the PS3 port of RA3, EA, and much more!

 

CNC-Live takes advantage of Stickam, a social networking website that features live flash based web streaming and an integrated text chat which anyone can utilise. By using Stickam a bond between the audience and the show hosts is created which allows for interactivity unlike any other. Be able to comment in real time and ask questions during the show!

This show is becoming scarce of support so it's most likely that this show might probably be the last episode. Few people participated in this show due to schedule conflicts and most of the time both GunRun and JohnWE spoke the most in the show whereas most others spoke a little. Participation in that episode is a tossup.

 

Second, I thought this should have been CNCLive Episode 6 because I thought Episode 5 was aired on New Year's Day and the download links did not exist. GunRun mentioned that before and now he has forgotten the episode number? Please don't tell me that episode on New Year's Day is just a private one-time episode.

 

The last episode I heard of it did have Sonic in the show but I expected to hear more from him though for this episode.

You're also confused about your reasoning for the hiatus. Retarded Defense: Ravana the only map I've made for RA3, wasn't the reason for the hiatus.

 

PurpleScrin, stop acting like a troll and making claims on behalf of my projects without any reason other than your misguided assumptions. You are posting these statements about CNC-Live as if they were fact, and that is not your right to do.

Okay, okay. I was just puzzling anyway. Almost everybody knew you are a busy guy lately, so I will not comment on that.

I find CNC Live okay but I don't like the format of the show. First, it's too long. A lengthy 2 hours talk gets me tired and have to skip some chatter etc. I feel that the "Live" part isn't a good idea. It'll be better as precorded, then you have more control to remove and edit unnecessary chatter and off topic discussions. I feel it can be improved if its in an iTunes podcast format.

 

Besides, I have yet to see a CNC fan iTunes podcast... which is very surprising for me.

I would like a video/audio part of the show. Hearing and listening is good but it rather gets boring as it goes through the show. Second, I would like a stereo version of the show rather than hearing old style AM radio talk show.

I agree with you guys and with this weeks show we will be utilizing a new format, I'm sure you will all enjoy it.

 

BTW I would love to upload the show to itunes, it's just I haven't found a place that would host the mp3s the way itunes wants them to be hosted.

 

Also yeah, the recordings of all future shows will be released in stereo.
