I've seen pictures and people bragging how great it is, it almost sounds too good to be true, and i was happy to hear the words ''no more cheaters''

 

Untill that is, one thing crossed my mind....

 

How long do you think it will take for some clever assed trainer maker to create a trainer that can bypass Renguard??

It's going to be extremely difficult to bypass because RenGuard is based on the server & client.

It does say on their website that if anyone rleases a hack that works they will simply patch RenGuard.

Well because a hack has to be publicised in order for people to find out about it, so the RenGuard peeps would hear about it and patch it.

Also if people started cheating on RenGuard servers they'd prolly do research into it.

yes, to hear "no more cheaters" would be good to hear on renegade...even better if all games and such had "no more cheaters" but i dont think thats possible...too many game makers already put too many cheats in their games where you dont need to press ~then type "yadda yadda" to get toda on some game thats not even related to it!

Well there's no cheating on any server running RenGuard.

There will probably be a dozen cheats available at one point that can bypass RenGuard.

The only problem with this is that the cheats are usually pretty public and upon discovery the RenGuard team will also know of their existence and patch the RenGuard clients and server software accordingly....

 

Its a simple cat and mouse game. :|

The only true way to get people to use Renguard is to make the cheats more availiable, then people will get fed up with cheaters and use Renguard.....

I Moderate on Belgium servers. I have been told you can still load up Renegade with Renguard activated and still have hacks i.e. corrupted files in your Data folder. Renguard Shuts it down, but then you can just load it back up. Their have been cheaters on renguarded servers. Anyone else come across situation's like these? The only GOOD side to testing cheats on single game play is so you can know what to look for. I don't think they will ever have a fool-proof system for LOSER CHEATERS , however now at least we are makin them work for their Cheatin pleasure. Keep lookin out.
