My top three Westwood games, in no particular order, are Generals, Renegade and Red Alert 2. Generals is very fun to play if you have a good enough computer to run it, or even if you don't. Renegade is a blast to play through, it is great fun to experiance C&C at ground zero. And Red Alert 2 is a fun, silly game where you can have no qualms about playing as the Soviets (as opposed to, say, the GLA) and spend hours waging war and watching the game characters ham it up. However, regretably these games do have faults. Renegade gets a little boring at times, or frustrating, and the ending falls flat. Generals is at times tasteless (the GLA hijacker, the MOAB, the GLA suicide bomber, shock and awe, the GLA's use of anthrax, weapons of mass destruction, the GLA...) and you need a break from Iraq and Afghanistan. Of course, there are times when you just want to bomb Al Qaeda back to the stone age, and Generals is about as close as you can get to a piece of the war on terror action. Red Alert 2 is a bit the same (America attacked and such...destroying the Pentagon and fighting at the World Trade Centre) but to be fair, RA2's biggest crime is not how it seems to capitalise on current events the way Generals seems to (watch the intro to see Bush, Tony Blair and Kofi Aman), but by simply not being, in my opinion, quite as good as Renegade and Generals. But they are still very good games, three of the best Westwood and EA have produced, and they certainly rank among my favourite games.

No, however it was included in the poll, and it is Command & Conquer, so I will count it. Besides, one in four games are now EA (with them having bought out Westwood, Maxis, Origin and many other companies) and it may come to pass that in the future we will not to be able to say which (Capcom, say) game is our favourite, as all games will be made either by or for EA.

I remember their basketball game once recieving a low level violence rating. I guess that was because you could push and hit the other players, but that was just silly. I don't think EA have made a fighting game, so if they are looking for companies that make similar games to their own then Midway and Acclaim could well be in trouble with their sports titles.

Midway made Ready 2 Rumble, n Mortal Kombat (along with acclaim)

 

They are some of the best fighting games around

yeah plus capcom made games such as megaman series (which i must say is the best) and all out battle games such as capcom vs ??? you know now they also are coming out with more new games to me EA is just some new company thats actually run litterally by dueche bags man so if they did want capcom tough trying to get them because they may seem dusty but they are really bright ivesting in good things (like megaman series)
