Sonic 296 Posted July 23, 2009 C&C4 does have Tiberium, above ground that it Share this post Link to post
Malevolence 6 Posted July 23, 2009 I think what the fans want is the small bunc of crystals thingy (with pods preferably) that is harvest-able, not the crater or giant ones (blossom tree replacement). Share this post Link to post
Silverthorn 0 Posted July 23, 2009 What we meant are fissures, which we don't want, very hardcore C&C & Westwoodians demand the blossom trees instead. Sure, C&C4 may become more dark than Firestorm this time, but that does not mean the blossom trees are still not going to be used, it better still functions to spawn Tiberium rather than just an eye candy. Luk3us 63 Posted July 23, 2009 I DEMANDZ TIBERIUM VIENS! They were soo cool. Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 291 Posted July 23, 2009 I'm hoping they just haven't put the crystals in yet, but if that's all the tiberium we're getting, that would be incredibly lame and an insult to the tiberium storyline. Share this post Link to post
Silverthorn 0 Posted July 23, 2009 AND I hope the crystal better spread like disease if left unharvested, NOT some crystals which always stick near to the fissure (Or blossom trees) like a baby always wants to be closed to his mommy. Share this post Link to post

Malevolence 6 Posted July 23, 2009 Thanks for reminding me about veins! That was the sickest thing ever in C&C terrains. C&C3 pay a little tribute to the veins by having some dead vein marks on some red zone terrains. I hope to see a mutated variant of the veins though. Share this post Link to post

I don't see it. I must have focused too much on the big things while small things are left unseen. Share this post Link to post

Malevolence 6 Posted July 23, 2009 You should go play C&C 3 all over again, and look closely at some of the terrain's ground. Share this post Link to post
Silverthorn 0 Posted July 23, 2009 A screenshot would be nice, my friend, I had moved on. Today, after the boredom of playing RA3 & Uprising, I'm now into Left 4 Dead 1 and the remaining huge amount of space after uninstalling Uprising is going to be reserved for Left 4 Dead 2 & Modern Warfare 2. Guest Stevie_K Posted July 23, 2009 You should go play C&C 3 all over again, and look closely at some of the terrain's ground. well. It's probably because the pc I had at that time couldn't handle full graphics. Share this post Link to post
Malevolence 6 Posted July 24, 2009 The official forums is for of LOLs. Like this link, the threadstarter claimed classic tiberium is in by some illogical deduction. Though its false alarm, its pretty funny read. Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted July 24, 2009 (edited) Ignoring previous statements... Do you think because Kane has hooked up with GDI - forming the Tiberium Control Alliance (or whatever it's caused) - they have been able to reclaim the earth (again) after realising they were only just years from total destruction (again)? I wondering if that partnership (Kane/GDI) is the fiction/reason/justification behind refineries at pre-determined control points in C&C4.... and the lack of a TibSun map environment where all tiberium is conveniently underground? What happened to Tiberium is our RING (ala LOTR)??? EDIT: fix stupid spelling Edited July 24, 2009 by gben Share this post Link to post

I wondering if that partnership (Kane/GDI) is the fiction/reason/justification behind refineries at pre-determined control points in C&C4.... and the lack of a TibSun map environment? "Tiberium Network Control" No, I always believe this is part of Kane's crazy plans. On the surface it may seem Kane has lost hope and everything, working with GDI to eradicate the problem and etc, its just a cover. This little peace gesture will ultimately start the next tiberium/ian war and everything go nuts, and Kane will acquire whatever he intended to do for his next phase of his crazy plan. Gben 20 Posted July 24, 2009 Sure, that's all plot development... Kane's schemes are of Frank Herbert proportions, beware GDI, don't trust him as far as Havoc can throw him!!! ... but I was talking about the game mechanic of harvesting tiberium. Share this post Link to post
Silverthorn 0 Posted July 24, 2009 Not to mention last time Nod allied with GDI in C&C3, but when Kane returns, Kane orders the commander to nuke them. I fear Kane will say nuke them after GDI's Tiberium Network Alliance is done for. Share this post Link to post
