Malevolence 6 Posted October 3, 2009 Apparently this guy went to purchase a Palit 9800GT graphics card and realized it cannot fit into the case for whatever reason. So he took the casing and self mod it. He doesn't know that he could simply pry off two PCI brackets, and inserted the card, which obvious can never fit, so he went to drill out a chunk of big hole just to install the graphics card. XD Check out this link for the laughs. Pls take it light hearted. http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1292609 http://forums.overclockers.com.au/showthread.php?t=816897 Share this post Link to post
PurpleGaga27 40 Posted October 12, 2009 (edited) A small motherboard will not fit a high-end video card. Also the case needs to be a high-end version as well especially a big tower case in order to fit correctly. Edited October 12, 2009 by purplescrin Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted October 12, 2009 It's the size of the video card and the case, not the motherboard. Share this post Link to post
Malevolence 6 Posted October 13, 2009 A small motherboard will not fit a high-end video card. Also the case needs to be a high-end version as well especially a big tower case in order to fit correctly. That's not the issue. Besides, this graphics card is not as high end as you said, neither is it as big as ATI Radeon HD 5870, and a small casing is more than enough to hold this obsolete GPU anyways.
