Half Life 2 Episode 3 Alpha Mod Concept Previews

I never knew someone was making this as a mod already..... secretly unofficial.

 

While Valve was quietly and slowly developing HL2 EP3, some HL2 modder decided it wasn't worth the long wait and somehow made EP3 maps for EP2 as unofficial maps. They are preview concepts on what might have happened during the events of EP3. (don't know why he called them fake maps)

 

The preview scenes of the EP3 mod walkthrough were okay, but I think Valve can do better than that. Although it did define what happened in EP3, there are some materials in the mod that are missing.

There is a download link available for the maps, however, the modder isn't finished yet with the maps.

Not Valve's work so I don't care. I changed your thread title to indicate that.

 

These sorts of videos have been around for a long time. I've heard all sorts of stories about them. Some even claim they are official and leaked/stolen from Valve.... yeah right

 

In the end its just another Half-Life 2 mod.

I'll admit, Valve are taking their sweet ass time with Half Life 2 Episode 3, its been so long since the release of Ep2. I guess when your making lots of money by pumping out Left 4 Dead games you can forget about your core franchise for awhile.

This mod changes a few things that's for sure. But I really doubt it's going to be released anytime soon.

 

 

I don't know about you guys, but I'm a huge fan of Half-Life. Almost as much as C&C and Diablo. Anyways.

I think Valve should develop some side-Half-Life-games like Blue Shift, Opposing Force etc. Those where really interesting.
