South Park Episode Censored

Comedy Central Censors 'South Park' Episode After Muslim Site's Threats

This is seriously stupid. Also very ironic, and because of that, somewhat amusing. Mostly just stupid though.

Don't know what the episodes were about? Check their Wikipedia entries 200 201.

Currently southparkstudios.com isn't even allowed to stream their episode uncensored.

Absolute bull****. Perhaps they're trying to avoid a terrorist attack?

Probably, but I don't really know. Watch the episode Super Best Friends. It shows Muhammad plain as day. But that was before the panic 2005 and 2007 caused.

But if you censor them, the terrorists win! :o

Eh, South Park lost its edge a while ago, now its just. Meh.

More censorship.

Additionally, South Park Studios had previously made "Super Best Friends," a fifth-season episode featuring Muhammad's image, available for online viewing. After "201" aired, "Super Best Friends" was removed from the site and replaced with an apology that South Park Studios could no longer stream this episode.

The "Super Best Friends" episode was available to watch Instantly Online on Netflix as recently as Thursday, April 22, 2010 however, as of Friday, April 23, 2010 the episode is only available "On Disc" meaning Netflix subscribers who wish to watch the episode will have to have Disc 1 of the Season Five DVD mailed to them.

As of Friday, April 23, 2010 the "Super Best Friends", "200", and "201" episodes of South Park are no longer being sold on iTunes nor on Amazon Video on Demand.

It is no longer even remotely amusing...

iTunes not selling them isn't a shock. Apple is all about fighting the first amendment. But Amazon... I thought they had balls.
