From some screenshots I've seen the C&C mod seems to have palette-related problems... like the fact the mod doesn't seem to take into account that there's a separate icons set for each theater, which need to be loaded in the palette of their own theater to look good.

This was fixed a few days ago in build 20100910-2. We now render all sidebar icons in temperat.pal.

So basically you avoid the issue by only using the Temperate icons?

 

Well, in a multi-paletted environment that works I guess.
