Problem with flag

Hi guys,

 

 

I'm trying to make a new flag by copying another flag (CALUNR02) (the small US flag you can see at Final Alert 2) but I can't get it to work.

The problem is the color (that I edited) doesn't appear on Final Alert 2 or in-game.

 

 

What I've done in rulesmd.ini:

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Oh yeah, I've done that too.

 

But under "NEW RA2 BUILDINGS" where the "building" I want to copy is too.

 

406=CALUNR02

<last line>

2303=NLFLGC

 

I have the idea that it can't read my .shp image or something cause when I replace the image with CALUNR02 the image does display.

Screenshot of what it looks like in-game? FA2 does not display new structures, but the game will do so just fine.

As you can see the I've also edited the Soviet Guard Shack's flag, which doesn't display at all.

 

The small flags are the flags where I was talking about when I opened the thread.

I've edited another kind of flag which did display the way I wanted it too be.

(with the steps above)

I have no idea what kind of flag it is. I only know it's called US Flag in FA2.

 

And all I did was doing the steps above.

Nothing else.

Remap is the column of red on the lower left of the palette, all the other reds are not. Remap determines ownership, if you made the flag all red, you probably used the remap, which means the flag will only be red if the owning faction is red (which civilians are not). If you want an always-red flag, you must use the other reds.
