Eh, come on Nmenth. You don't think we're going to pay any of the testers we just 'hired' over at Bluehell Productions last week, do you? Which reminds me, I need to go do the final approval for the second batch.

I can see what Nmenth is getting at. If I see the use of the word "Hire" I would assume they has the intention of actually paying people. But really its just a case of the wrong word being used here. "Volunteer" would have been better.

 

When I advertise for new people to help with CNCNZ.com I never use any wording that implies some for pay or earnings. Plus I don't call it a job. Like a lot of things in this community, you volunteer your time.

Fair enough. Maybe you guys can help me with some linguistic analysis on this PM I received a couple days ago from one of the Reborn staff members. It's from the same guy who posted the want-ad for hiring testers, so I feel this might be related and anybody who feels like signing on with the Reborn crew should be aware They won't pay you, but they probably will try to rip you off!

We also all thought they were going to release something every year for the past three years I feel everybody will be pleasantly surprised if they go through with their plans here, we're working on a really fun unit that we've hinted at for a while

 

Lag made it very difficult to control to the point we eased off working on it, but the lag problems seem completely gone in some recent 30 player tests over the past weekend. Despite the lag, it was fun as hell to use when warping all around, and great for busting tanks.
