getting comand and conquer to work online

my brother's game of the c&c the first decade yuri's revenge got broken so he bought a new copy.he erased the old copy and installed the new one.when he enter his online name of bluesheild it took him to a empty room and said he must register so he did but it still wont let him play online with xwis.i just recently had to replace my copy also but was able to enter my same user name and was able to play online with no problem.any help would be appriciated we seem to be at a stand still.

XWIS instituted a new registration system so it's a pain to actually setup an account now.
