Is there a download that I can get that will allowme to edit a RA2 map and where can I get it from?

Not true. I use FA2:YR for YR maps and RA2 maps, and it works. You just have to make sure that you go under "File" and "Check Map" and it will tell you if you can use it as a RA2 or YR map.

 

You can save maps as .mpr, .yrm, or .mmx. the .mpr extension is for RA2 maps. For some reason you cannot play a map in YR that has the .mpr extension. .yrm is for Yuri's Revenge maps. and the .mmx is for both. But the .mmx extension has some weird properties. I don't use it much. You have to go through an extra step and I don't think you should have to.

FA2: YR will work with only RA2 installed, just none of the YR things will show up, so you can only make RA2 maps - simple
