C&C Community Bracket Game - Week 2

Week 2 of the C&C Community Bracket Game is now finished. And with the end of this week, we see another four Command & Conquer games being eliminated. The updated brackets can be viewed below. This is what was posted on the Official C&C Site just a short time ago.

 

Week #2 of our Community Bracket game is over, with four new match winners and of course, four new losers dropping out. The end of week #2 also marks the fresh beginning of bracket round #2, where the choice is even harder! The first battle of week #2 was C&C2: Tiberian Sun vs Red Alert 3. TS was the fan favorite before the vote and still is after the vote as well, due to the poll win with 65%. Generals had no problem wining the poll with 75% against Red Alert 3: Uprising. The last two matches were pretty easy to pick. C&C3: Tiberium Wars had to steamroll Sole Survivor with a 91% win, while Red Alert Mobile became pulverized by Red Alert 2: Yuri’s Revenge with 97%.

In my opinion there's way more content and fun to Generals than there is to Uprising.

I agree with Jehal, Uprising is good for what it was for $20 or there abouts. But Generals has more to offer to in terms of longevity. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if Zero Hour wins this.

 

What ever game wins this it doesn't really show a true indication of what is the most popular game in entire franchise anyway. Each game has its positives and negatives, and they will all be remember for many different things. I personally like to think that whole C&C brand/franchise is what is popular, not one particular game.

Uprising lost because most likely the vast majority of people have never played it.

 

That and Generals has a loyal following, I reckon ZH or Generals will probably get in the semis.

Oh sure. Cliché'd US grunts fighting an powerful Middle-Eastern extremist faction, all watched by a vicious Chinese army. No storyline at all and no interesting gameplay. Real fun. RA3U, on the other hand, gives something that RA3 never had - extremely destructive units that were completely ignored in the vanilla version and the Commander's Challenge for some real playing.

But I do agree with Sonic. Zero Hour just might win this.

Damn it.

On a side note, I predict the following outcome:

KW will lose to ZH, as the former was released at the time when the first fans began leaving the community. RA2 will pwn RA1 because it was much more popular at its time, and lately we can see it on all-time RTS top lists. TS will be mown down by vanilla Generals, and Tiberium Wars will lose to YR.

As for the latest polls, RA2 is edging out RA1 at around 70% and the other poll involving Zero Hour and Kane's Wrath is too close to call.

C&C3: Tiberium Wars had to steamroll Sole Survivor with a 91% win

Heh heh, Sole Survivor got a higher vote percent than Tiberian Twilight.

I wouldn't mind Zero Hour winning. I want EA to make another Generals game above everything. Generals has a wafer-thin storyline anyway, so that's something they can't **** up royally. And EA make pretty good games gameplay-wise.

No new thread for C&C Community Bracket Game - Weeks 3 and 4?

 

Last week Zero Hour edged out Kane's Wrath in a too close to call polling.

 

As for the latest polls this week, Generals is edging out C&C2 (54%) and RA2 Yuri's Revenge is edging out C&C3 (55%).

 

Guess what, the C&C Final Four is already determined for Generals, Zero Hour, Red Alert 2 and Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge.
