Has anyone heard about this? I saw this on a post somewhere when EA announced no mods for BF3. Some pissed off people were touting this game as a good PC game replacement. I don't see it as a replacement at all but it still looks very cool, fun, and customizable. I also have played the first RO and I found it pretty fun.

Here's a launch trailer, pretty nifty, graphics are a bit dated in terms of comparing it to MW3 or BF3, but the gameplay looks pretty solid.

I've been this title everywhere, but never really looked into it. I just checked out some of gameplay/walkthroughs.

The idea of a German apolitical SP is long overdue. I actually wouldn't mind seeing a heroic German campaign where they replayed an Allied defeat.

 

That being said, I really like the squad dynamic, where it's MASTER CHIEF going Rambo in every mission, but when you die, you take over control of a squad mate.

 

I'll keep an eye out on this when it's cheap.

I agree with you but people would freak out with a heroic German campaign, I could image all the claims of racism, Nazism, etc x_x It's coming out soon, on the 13th.. I wish I had more money <_<

Sure, but by apolitical I mean ignoring the Nazi context completely.

A new idea would be even doing a "heroic german v evil nazi" side mission.

The mirror match is a hardly original, but the motivation would be unique.
