comander starlin 6 Posted February 23, 2013 at the end of the day Microsoft created something that isnt all that helpful, for the more advance user. what should have happened was 2 OS systems on for Desktop and one for Touch, that way it could work well for both user instead of alienating, it's core user. but hay i am not worried i am going to convert back to Lunix soon. so i wont worry about windows 8, here in New Zealand we will soon see Linux coming to store fronts, so it is about time to brush up on old Faithful. Traymen 6 Posted February 23, 2013 I am using both: Ubuntu 11.10 and Windows 8 Pro. Ubuntu is for work and internet browser while Windows stays as gaming OS. Share this post Link to post

PurpleGaga27 40 Posted July 1, 2013 (edited) Another update with an interesting stat on Windows 8: http://www.pcworld.com/article/2043390/windows-8-finally-passes-vista-in-os-market-share.html Another interesting stat: Over 40% of users now use Chrome over Firefox/IE/Safari/Opera combined? Yikes.
