I have had enough With Aircraftkiller!!!

If there's one person who could drive me out, make me never return to this community then it's ACK. He drive's me insane and I hate it.

 

I can't even play a decent game of Renegade Alert without him accussing me of cheating, or him bossing myself or others around just because he's so hight and mighty or so he thinks...

 

I've quit the staff at Abumm, and I've chosen not to support Renegade Alert any further.. I'm not interested in that game, so long as he thinks he can do what on earth he likes I don't wanna be a part of it.

 

Aircraftkiller is ignorant, selfish, and has an ego bigger than his own head. He's a sadcase, and I'm sorry, I can't stand people like that.. All I wanted was to play a decent game this evening and I couldn't even do that... so I told him where to shove his poxy mod...

 

That's the end of that, I need a cigarette I'm so pissed off!

It's even worse when he deletes my posts about him. But that's okay, since it's in other forums too.

 

I don't know if he does cheat or not, so don't think of this thread as a "he must cheat" kind of thing.

Now he starts getting defensive, after leaving. Keep in mind, cheats that operate for Renegade Alert are installed via dropping them in during a game load. You can't remove them unless you leave the game and rejoin without the cheats loaded. This is why more of us got suspicious, he leaves after being asked a question and then returns while getting defensive about his questionable leaverejoin and accusations.

It was ACK, I'm sorry, but if this fued between me & him continues then one of us will have to leave the community for good. If Renguard was on that server it wouldn't of made any difference...

lol? Why should I leave because you're pissed off because people accused you of cheating? I don't even know if you do or not, you just went berserk when the idea was brought up that you could have been doing it.

 

Furthermore, I have no real problem with you. Just look at everything you're writing, either you hate me or you have an intense dislike of me for no real reason. I wasn't the one accusing you of cheating, just look at the log and you'll see several people were doing it.

 

I simply investigated because it's my job to protect the integrity of the RA gameplay in all servers I'm an administrator for.

I left in a state of anger cos everyone thought I was cheating, when the map was over I came back in and thought OK, I'll give this another go..

 

I never realised it was a sign of cheating.. OK I caught you just inside the V2's firing range, it was a lucky shot!

Any good CNC Gamer wont use cheats. We have modding for that.

See, that's what makes me think you were possibly cheating... Instead of answering me, you instantly jump to conclusions that I'm going to ban you for telling me what you did.

 

I saw your missile hit the mountain, about 100 meters away from me. That's why I said "someone is cheating" simply because V2 Rockets do not have that kind of explosive radius.

 

I'll remove your ban at n00bsvr05 if you apoligize to me for the way you treated me in that game; I will also give you another chance in the server. However I did find the "long live Reborn" comment to be quite funny.

People often think someone is cheating, especially if something weird happens.

Sadly, a lot of people react heavily to it, and only feed fuel to the fire...

And then there are those who DO cheat, and they are the real jerks.

Yeah well, I'm not exactly in the position to rejoin now

 

I've gotta crank out a 343+ MB download now cos I uninstalled it and there are no installation back-ups on my hard drive due to space... But I Have braodband, it'll only take 2 hours.. lol

 

If I knew how I inflicted that damage on you I would of told ya, but so many people say not to answer you back, so I take heed on their advice...

 

I get angered too damn easily... I'm sorry, for that.... I just don't like to be accused of cheating... I've played Renegade for too damn long to cheat, and I'm good enough in my opinion without all that crap that goes on.

 

The V2 is my favourite weapon, I use it well and know how to catch people out with it... fact is that guy who said I shot hime with one shot did not notice that I and another team mate got him with 2 rockets fired almost at the same time...

 

All I'll say is this, I play for fun, and to enjoy this game you've made, not to create havoc and ruin people's fun, you know I'm better than that... If I did cheat then I would of p0wned you in Fissure for sure... My language was inexcusable, yes, but when I use a V2 in future, let everybody know, I'm just good at using it :wink:

Even though its on a different subject. And I don't think Aircraftkiller knows about this. But I would like to know who started the bull**** stories about us (CNCNZ.com) putting a virus in our mirrors of Renegade Alert?

I found posts all over the RenAlert forums from people there saying "don't download from CNCNZ.com, they put a virus in RenAlert!!".

 

Search your forums Aircraftkiller and you will see what I mean.

I haven't got any idea, probably some idiots who don't like your site... I think the people who posted those topics were unregistered so they felt like causing some trouble on the forum.

I have heard of this sort of thing and my friend has experianced it himself, how people who run forums, online games and such make the experiance for others an unhappy one. The bannings that happened on the Sociolotron beta is an example. If it is of any help, here is my ten step guide to dealing with such problems.

 

Flame 1. If someone launches a direct attack on you, or you feel that they have launched an attack on you, the first and best thing to do is to ignore it and carry on as if nothing has happened. When I say ignore, I mean make no comment or action on it whatsoever. Do not report the post, do not tell anyone about it, nothing. If there is no reaction then whoever is attacking you won't waste their time in the future.

 

Flame 2. If the same person is nasty again, it is still advisable to ignore it. Most people will give up if they are ignored, even if they are looking for trouble.

 

Flame 3. A calm, measured response to any further attacks to the person who has chosen to flame you is warrented. Explain how it is something you wish to stop and how it makes them and the forum look bad. A similar post can be made to the admins of the forum.

 

Flame 4. From any reply you might get from the people you have written to, you can judge whether or not the forum is a place you want to stay in. If the admin is not nasty in what they say then it is recommended that you stay and if a flame is posted in retalliation to what you did ignore it. That way you are showing that you are not being overly sensitive (even if you are) and you are more likely to get help because you don't whine at every thing that happens.

 

Flame 5. If the abuse continues, it is time to take the problem public. How you write a public post is ultimatly up to you, but if you want something done about it being mild helps. Pointing out the attacker's faults is okay, as long as you are not nasty otherwise you will look as bad as they are.

 

Flame 6. If things have gotten to the stage where you publically talk about what is going on as in stage five, it is likely you will get flamed. Ignore it to show that you are not going to whinge about every bad thing said about you. This will give you more support.

 

Flame 7. Things shouldn't have reached this stage with a good team of moderators on board. If they have then send another post to them saying how you have ignored it, you have reported the person flaming you, and still the problem comtinues. It is also a good idea to unsubscribe yourself from that particular topic.

 

Flame 8. You have a problem if the problem goes this far. It means that whoever is attaking you is actively seeking to hurt you, and have in fact become something of an online stalker. Remove yourself from any topics that they are also a part of.

 

Flame 9. It looks as though things have become a lost cause here. Write to the moderators and tell them you will leave unless the problem is fixed now. You can also write to the person attacking you and tell them you will report them to everyone you can if they do not stop their attacks, but you have to judge whether this will make them stop or if it will cause more problems, on and off the message board.

 

Flame 10. It is obvious that the moderators are not going to help you and the stalker, who the person who is attacking you has become at this stage, is going to make your time at the message board unhappy. The best thing to do here is to remove yourself from there altogether and tell everyone you can that this person makes the online community an unhappy place to be. If you do leave, do so quietly. Do not post saying that the problems you have had are the reason you are leaving. This will only encourage the stalker to continue even after you are gone. But certainly say to other message boards on how muh of a problem they cause. Also, you might be wondering about taking legal action. About the only thing you can do is report their ISP. Do so. Any further legal acting such as prosecuting the flamer or message board is unrealistic, and any threats to do so would be rediculed.
