A future Half-Life or Portal movie in the works?

It looks like J.J. Abrams directing of future Star Wars and Star Trek movies was just not enough, he wants to co-create and co-produce either a Half-Life or Portal movie:

I doubt there'll be a Half-Life movie until around 2020. I still want Hugh Laurie to be Gordon Freeman and Morgan Freeman to be Dr. Ely Vance.
