So <insert excel spreadsheet nut username here> should start working out what units have been announced and who gets what...

 

It's interesting to think that a unit is specific to a general, not a sup'd up version replacing a vanilla version.

Makes you wonder if they are generals or just squad leaders.

 

I never played DOW - but didn't they have physically small squads - like a dozen?

Maybe the devs are finally realising that the best strategy is a "Heavy-Tank Red-Alert" spam, and realised - why give the fans 100 choices when they only build 2 or 3 types...

I hope not, the freedom to do whatever you want is what makes made C&C so special. Unfortunately, they have been falling away from this with each successive game featuring chokepoint-heavy maps, forced expansion, emphasized counters, and so on...

hmmm from the graphic point of view, i think they just hired a chinese model and took pictures then turned it into a painting... not that anyone would be interested, just saying as an cg artist...

 

I think the look of the soldier of the rocket squad is a bit generic imo. i think they should make the launcher big, real big, otherwise, it would be just a rocket squad like in any other c&c which is a standard unit!
