It seems that you just can't keep a good game down. Fallout 3 is now back under development. Bethesda Studios is the developer currently, though they are still trying to get permission from either Obsidian Entertainment or Troika Games, both which were formed by Black Isle Studios refugees who had key roles in the making of Fallout 1 & 2. Bethesda is known for its RPG, Elder Scrolls, but then those RPGs are first-person-prespective, single character RPGs with cardboard NPCs. In short, they're not Fallout. I have played Fallout 2, and it's pretty cool. Nice weaponries, but somehow it goes weird in the end. I hope Fallout 3 will be better than the previous ones.
