ajoseph90 0 Posted January 30, 2005 Is there a way to convert a TS voxel to use in RA2 that would look in proportion with other units? I am specifically trying for the Titan or other walker vehicles. Help is greatly appreciated! Share this post Link to post
alleylee 0 Posted January 30, 2005 umm... i don't know.. i don't think it is proportionate in the first place... comparing the units with the infantries Share this post Link to post
Napoleon the Clown 0 Posted January 31, 2005 For them to match up in size you'd either need to download a voxel editor and resize them yourself, or you could hunt the internet for some people have already made. Yuri's Revenge Argentina is a pretty good site to download voxels from. If I remember correctly, they actually do have a few resizes. If not, search on Google. There are good voxel editors out all over. Google again can be your friend. Good luck to your project. Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 42 Posted January 31, 2005 Rescaling them is the only way to do it. You need the Voxel Section Editor III and good knowledge. There's on little problem though... You'll get gaps in the voxels. You'll have to oversize them then downscale them to fill the gaps. Share this post Link to post
Koen 2 Posted February 5, 2005 There is another trick which is rescaling in the VXL header which is not widely known. And not widely used, because the header isn't editable in VXLSE... There's a transformation matrix in there (4 by 4), and if you multiply the top-left 3 by 3 elements by a fixed number you should get a scaling. Or perhaps there was some other number which was a scaling factor. Anyway, I never really checked this out thoroughly but I know the theory behind the header so it should work.
