Err.... Did someone die?

Recommended Posts

Cause like is it just me or has these forums just sorta like dieed. I know this kinda happens a lot. But as of late it seems like all the "regular" peoples aren't even here.

Or is there some big party that nobody told me about?

Oh yeah anyone know when Max Payne 2 is set to be released? And has anyone played that Homeworld 2 game or Halo, or heard anything about Unreal Touranment 2004?

Funny somebody asked the same question at ER. Forums will have a high and low peek off and on. This might be the low part. There was a party but I'm still recovering from it.

You should know who our forums work luk3us. We have highs and lows. More lows than highs most of the time.

Things will pick up again.

meh :blah:

i blame my good looks...

Max payne - know idea..

Halo - ive heard it was really overrated and exactly like the x-box game...but im getting it in aboot a week

Homeworld 2 - a friend took it back because it was so ****e...its nothing like the first and a totally different story line...*hence the nothing like the first bit*

how ever i would like to say i have no idea...wooo :tired:

really though on a more serious note...*wonders how a note can be serious*

i personally feel that i would post more topics if the general public was more interesting, im into politics and history and i love current events, but ir eally see no reason in sparking a debate when it seems like no one else really cares...

also very few people really talk about new and up comming games or something interesting most of it is just something funny or something like what is your fav?

i admire your ability to try and spruce things up luk3us ill try my hardest to be interesting i promise....

is this good enough... :omg: :omg: :omg: :omg:

I heard Halo 2 is good, especially the multiplayer. I tried the single player demo, but just couldn't get myself into it. I probably won't buy it, since I've got a few other games keeping me busy right now.

Halo : Combat evolved seems very blah from the demo, Halo 2 is altogether a diffrent matter, RL.

I got the same impression from the Homeworld 2 demo, and I won't know a thing about MP2 untill I actually play it, but people say it's good.

Hmmm.......

No party during the week just busy at work BUT there is a BIG party on Saturday and Sunday. Invite Only!

Stash Bash 2!!!!!!!

I was fortunate enough to get invited for the Saturday Party.

What party?

Kevin Smith's Party for Jason Mewes.

Can anyone say Clerks, Mallrats, Dogma, Chasing Amy OR Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back?

Yup, that Kevin Smith (Silent Bob)!

Anyone from down under coming up for the party?

When they had the Vulgarthon someone flew in from Australia.

If anyone on this board is going to Red Bank, New Jersey this weekend, drop me a note, we'll hook up. :?:  :?:

Anyone want a Buddy Christ?

Max Payne 2 is good. I'll have to take on the other game modes now that I've beaten it once. The story is great, that's for sure.

I might find out tomorrow! From what I've read, he's a very down to earth guy. We did a favor for them and I have to drop by his production offices tomorrow. Maybe I'll get a chance to meet him!

DEFINITELY check out "Chasing Amy" great story!

Thanks for the tip about Empire Records. I never knew it existed (even if it isn't a Kevin Smith Film). Liv Tyler in it is enough for me.

Check out "One night at McCool's", it's a very good Liv Tyler Movie.

Yup! I had them sign my copy of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. I also bought multiple Buddy Christ's and had Kevin sign them for a few special people in my life. It should be cool on Thursday night when I give one to my friend's daughter. It's her Birthday and she will have a Buddy Christ with Birthday wishes from Kevin Smith.

They are the most approachable and down to Earth people I have ever met (at least of anyone famous).

I had to go to the Company offices on Friday and when I went to the party on Saturday everyone knew me by name.

I got to spend some time with Kevin & Jay and also some of the other people.

Brian O'Halloran (Dante in Clerks) was very friendly and just stood around for hours talking with people and signing autographs.

The guy who came up from Australia before came again but I didn't get to meet him.

There was also a 14 year old kid from Scotland there. His Dad brought him! What a cool Dad!

If you want to check out the event go to:

ViewAskew.com

When you're there check out "News Askew". They have a recap of the event. Pay special attention to the button that is displayed, my Father's company provided them. They used them as the ticket to get into the bowling alley party.

All and all it was a GREAT weekend. Thanks for asking!
