I just dont get that sport. Ive tried my hardest to understand it appeal while watching it at 2am on channel 5, but I still am left with questions unanswered like why do they spend more time off the field that on it, why do they need 80 odd players that are constanly being switch around, why is there more time spent on adverts than there is on showing the game, and lastly do the comentators have sore throats after each game as they never is a pause their constant predictable drivel which starts with the head comentator (The don as I like to call him) stating the obvious i.e guy threw ball at someone, then one of the technical experts says what he thinks of the move and then the third will disagree with him and then it starts all over again.

That me finished my rant just dont mention american rounders..I mean baseball and their version of the weakest link.

I like to watch the American version of Who wants to be a millionaire... questions are so damn easy I'd be a millionaire everytime! I remember once the $100 question was "What colour is an Orange?" the guy took a 50/50 and a phone a friend before getting onto the $200 question. Hell knows how he managed to walk away with $1000 but he did :crazyguy:

American culture for you though. Same with everything in the USA though... For example, since when has American Football required the constant use of your feet. It's just a craply modified game of rugby with the guys wearing body armour. Wussies

Now that's messed up!

aye no kidding like pants we call em trousers and flannel is another one

I think that the Italian version is a propper pie - with high sides and the filling really deep in the middle. The common pizza we have today is an American invention.

I think pizza means pie in Itallian.

Stuffed Mexican Pizza Pie

12484.jpg

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 large onion, chopped

1 large green bell pepper, chopped

1-1/2 cups UNCLE BEN'S® Instant Rice

2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) Mexican-style stewed tomatoes, undrained

2/3 cup water

2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Mexican-style seasoned Monterey Jack-Colby cheese blend, divided

1 container (10 ounces) refrigerated pizza crust dough

1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Spray 13×9-inch baking pan with cooking spray; set aside.

2. Spray large nonstick skillet with nonstick cooking spray; heat over high heat until hot. Add beef, onion and bell pepper; cook and stir 5 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.

3. Add rice, stewed tomatoes and water. Bring to a boil. Pour beef mixture into prepared baking pan. Sprinkle with 1-1/4 cups cheese and stir until blended.

4. Unroll pizza crust dough on work surface. Place dough in one even layer over mixture in baking pan. Cut 6 to 8 slits in dough with sharp knife. Bake 10 minutes or until crust is lightly browned. Sprinkle top of crust with remaining 3/4 cup cheese; continue baking 4 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is deep golden brown.

5. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.

I like the Texas BBQ from Domino's Pizza. Makes a change from the standard tomato crap you always get on pizza. Absolutely delicious
