apocolyp4 0 Posted March 2, 2005 I just dont get that sport. Ive tried my hardest to understand it appeal while watching it at 2am on channel 5, but I still am left with questions unanswered like why do they spend more time off the field that on it, why do they need 80 odd players that are constanly being switch around, why is there more time spent on adverts than there is on showing the game, and lastly do the comentators have sore throats after each game as they never is a pause their constant predictable drivel which starts with the head comentator (The don as I like to call him) stating the obvious i.e guy threw ball at someone, then one of the technical experts says what he thinks of the move and then the third will disagree with him and then it starts all over again. That me finished my rant just dont mention american rounders..I mean baseball and their version of the weakest link. Share this post Link to post
Saracen 16 Posted March 2, 2005 I like to watch the American version of Who wants to be a millionaire... questions are so damn easy I'd be a millionaire everytime! I remember once the $100 question was "What colour is an Orange?" the guy took a 50/50 and a phone a friend before getting onto the $200 question. Hell knows how he managed to walk away with $1000 but he did Share this post Link to post

Luk3us 63 Posted March 2, 2005 Yeah I'm pretty sure Pizza came from Italy. As for Chocolate pie. I refuse to believe you.... Post a pic or something.... It just sounds too stupid... Share this post Link to post
Mario 0 Posted March 3, 2005 of course pizza comes from italy they invented it Share this post Link to post
chickendippers 1 Posted March 3, 2005 I think that the Italian version is a propper pie - with high sides and the filling really deep in the middle. The common pizza we have today is an American invention. I think pizza means pie in Itallian. Share this post Link to post
