He every1! Listen, i want to install tiberian sun but...

When the autoplay shows I click on install but the setup won't start. When i try to manually start the setup, the same thing. I have windows Xp. Please helppppp!!!!!!!!

Make sure you are installing the RA95 version, not the MS-DOS version.

What game are we talking about here?

Tiberian Sun does *not* have a MS/DOS version. I'm not sure why Cygnus brings up RA95.exe because that file is only found in Red Alert.

Or are you talking about Tiberian Dawn (C&C part 1) which does have a DOS version? If so, you could try to use DosBox.

i wouldnt use the DOS Box. It did some weird stuff for me, in addition to locking my comp up.

 

Know of any other good DOS emulators? I want to play Yoda Stories and Tie Fighter again.

Tiberian sun is possible to install in xp

i run xp pro and have it installed

yup you need to set compatability for it under 98

like you do for RA1 with aftermath (compatability mode for RA1 then install expansion normal under xp

Helooo, the compatibility does not work. I have tried with every version of windows but it sill doesn't work. I will try that DOSbox, but in any case, if someone has tiberian sun, please e-mail me your setup.exe on the previously mentioned e-mail adress.

Tiberian Sun does not run in DOS.

 

It seems that TibSun does have problems running on 64-bit systems though, what are your system specs?

I have compiled the Ts game from the demo, just by adding some files from the cd and i can play it, at least with GDI. But i havent used the setup so i havent the registry files which are required to install TS: Firestorm. You folks that have a working tiberian sun, please send me the file setup.exe (not the whole cd) which is located in the root of the cd, to the mail adress [email protected]. Thank you!

compatibility doesn't work for mine. I tried. The game loads, the screen turns black, and it fails to load. I have to press CtrlAltDelete and click on TS end program to close it

If compatabiliy isnt working, tell Microsoft. And look in their costomer support area for help on fixing this compatability not working issue.
